I really worked hard at simplifying my set-up. The sail is lashed to the mast so it all goes in as one piece, then untied and raised. Similarly, the rudder/tiller is just a drop in affair using my 'pintle-less' solution (more in another series) and my clampy-type, adjustable leeboard. 3 major sub-assemblies that go together in minutes.
Then I paddled out into the pond, backwards with the sail flapping. |
